What is Faecal Worm Egg Counting?
Faecal Egg Counting (FEC), is a diagnostic technique used to help identify parasitic worm burdens. The most common parasites detected in a FEC's are Ascarids and Strongyles.
As this risk of resistance develops we need to manage our animals parasitic burdens and promote animal health.
At EFEC, individual egg samples are taken and analysed at your yard with same day results. Alternatively we have a postal service with results within 3-4 days.
